Vegemi goes on an adventure in Picnic restaurants’ kids’ meals.
Vegemi is a little microbiome hero who lives inside us and gets superpowers from vegetables. In Picnic’s kids’ meals, Vegemi invites children on an adventure where healthy food, play, and learning go hand in hand.
Vegemi also has its own free app, where children explore the superpowers of vegetables and learn about healthy food choices in a fun and inspiring way. For example, Vegemi gets super sight from carrots – and so do carrots themselves. Vitamin A also supports the health of our human eyes.
Picnic is Vegemi’s favourite restaurant, because Finland’s smartest kids’ meal makes healthy eating fun and educational. You can find Finland’s smartest kids’ meal in all Picnic restaurants across Finland starting 22 April 2026.

A meal that complies with nutritional recommendations
The kids’ meal includes one selected main dish from three options: a baked potato, spinach pancakes, or a mini baguette.
The meal also includes vegetable sticks as a starter, a slice of bread on the side, unsweetened juice or milk as a drink, and fruit pieces for dessert. The kids’ meal meets nutritional guidelines and provides 50% of the recommended daily intake of vegetables. The meal contains no added sugar. Come and try Finland’s smartest kids’ meal!

Vegemi cardboard character
The meal box features a Vegemi cardboard character that children can take with them, cut out, and use in play at home as well.
Vegemi collectible card
Each kids’ meal includes a Vegemi collectible card featuring one vegetable and its associated superpower. The card includes a detachable superpower accessory that can be used to dress up the Vegemi cardboard character. The same collectible card can be image‑recognized in the Vegemi app, unlocking the matching accessory for Vegemi in the app. There are 20 different collectible cards to collect, both physically and digitally in the app, trade with friends, and mix and match into different superpower outfit combinations.
